As NG add the finishing touches to Phase 1 of the City School project in Sheffield, the positive, pro-active approach to Health and Safety throughout the works, has been recognised and awarded with the following:
Congratulations to NG Developments for winning the VINCI Construction ’Contractor of the Month’ Safety Award for July 2011 on the City School Project.
The Safety Award is hotly contested each month by all of our contractors on site and NG Developments are deserving winners for July. The windows and cladding package is technically challenging and involves high-risk activities, particularly working at height. Your team deserves credit for their efforts in carrying this out smoothly and safely throughout the course of the installation. Of particular note has been Dean Armitage’s approach, which has contributed much to the positive safety culture that has developed on the project. He has been a pleasure to work with and the co-ordination with ourselves and the other contractors has been top drawer. Please pass our thanks on to him. The Fullers team working on the panels have also been excellent from our perspective and also deserve credit for their part.
